I live in Central NY state with my adorable kind lovable hubby. My step daughter lives with us. I have 2 children and 2 step children I adore them all. I also have 2 dogs and 7 cats,that I adore as well.I am currently dealing with a condition called RSD, http://www.rsds.org/index2.html, a horrible side effect of a spinal fusion I had in April 07,that went perfectly however, and I thank God and my Surgeon for that. RSD is a horrificly painful & unpredictable condition, the DR are almost ready to give up as well as my legs are not responding to any treatments at all and it takes all of my patience daily to get through. But I will not give up, as I am not a quitter. I refuse to let it be who I am either and define me.That is why I am trying more and more to focus on positive things in my life,to keep me busy. There is so much positive in this life,we have to make a choice to see,the negative is always there,look beyond it to see the positive.Its there trust me!!!!!
My interest in starting a blog and following missing children/ missing people has all come about because of Jaliek. I had been up the night of Nov 1,2007 because my precious dog Scarlet has been hit by a car. She was injured badly but,thankfully, not killed.We were up all night long between the 24 hr emergency VET and then taking her to our local vet here. She is now healed 100%.We got home and the story of Jaliek was on I believe, the local news at noon or one of them. I saw a picture of Jaliek,his eyes so trusting,his smile so bright, and I saw a video of his adopted father. I felt immediately and said to my hubby”That man has something to do with this child missing” I have never changed my mind on this, almost 13 months later.Trust me, if someone could provide me with enough proof needed I would love to know that anyone besides his own father did something to him. I have learned through Jaliek and all those that love and miss him. There are much more to missing people, then that picture on a poster or on the TV news. He has brought alive something inside of me, a passion, a quest for answers. I never knew existed, so to speak. I will always do what I can from here to help anyone,anyway that I am able to.Pls use me if I can help you. That is just a small part of me and who I have become now. It could change tomorrow. But I will be praying for Jaleik always,until all of the answers are found.Bless you all in your search for your loved ones!!,Deb

The Lord always takes what the enemy has tried to harm us with and uses it for good. His word says in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpse for them. I beleive God is using your situation for His glory and a greater purposes. I also beleive God wants to heal you. His word says so……I am proud of what you are doing and I know God is going to do something great for you. Bless you and I love you…..
Hi, Deb. I loved your blog. I know that you are going through so much pain dealing with the back injury and now with the RSD.
I have learned that since I met you that you are a passionate woman and a wonderful person.
I do hope that Jaliek is found alive and well but I know the statitics are not good for this.
